1. Introduction
Welcome to Easy2Trade Ltd. By using our platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please review them carefully.
2. Definitions
- Easy2Trade Ltd: The company facilitating transactions between car dealerships.
- Vendor: The dealership or trade partner selling the vehicle.
- Buyer: The dealership or trade partner purchasing the vehicle.
- Vehicle: The goods being traded via the Easy2Trade platform.
3. Our Role
Easy2Trade Ltd acts as an agent/broker to facilitate transactions between buyers and vendors. We do not take ownership of the vehicles nor are we responsible for any misdescription by the vendor. All vehicle descriptions are provided by the vendors.
4. Vehicle Inspection and Reporting
- Vendor Responsibility: Vendors must accurately describe the condition of their vehicles. Easy2Trade Ltd recommends that they also check the vehicle condition, paperwork and particulars before the arrival of the Buyers to collect.
- Buyer Responsibility: Buyers must carry out vehicle data checks prior to collection. Once checked and cleared buyers must inspect the purchased vehicle upon collection. Any discrepancies must be reported immediately and before removing the vehicle from the site.
5. Documentation and Payment
- Vendor: Vendors must e-mail a copy of the full V5C, invoice (made out to the buyer) and their dealership’s bank details to Easy2Trade Ltd. Vehicles must be cleared of any finance or stocking loans before payments can be processed.
- Buyer: Buyers should not make any payments until they have received a copy of the V5C, the invoice and have confirmation that the vehicle is HPI clear.
6. Transaction Process
- Once a buyer’s bid has been accepted or chooses to buy a vehicle, they will receive an invoice with payment instructions from us that has been provided by the vendor.
- Payment should be made only after receiving the required documentation and confirming the vehicle is HPI clear. (see section 5)
- Easy2Trade Ltd will provide VAT invoices to both the buyer and vendor for broker fees and any delivery fees once payment and collection is made.
7. Misdescription and Discrepancies
If a vehicle is not as described by the vendor and it is brought to our attention before the vehicle is taken off the vendor’s site, Easy2Trade Ltd reserves the right to:
- Renegotiate the selling price.
- Cancel the purchase if necessary.
- Charge a discretionary broker fee to the vendor for any vehicle rejected due to misdescription or canceled post-agreement.
8. Fees
Easy2Trade Ltd charges a transaction broker fee for each completed sale. The fee structure is detailed in our ‘Pricing’ section.
9. Buyer Guidelines
Buyers will receive the following documentation and instructions via e-mail:
- Scan of all 3 pages of the V5C
- Invoice
- Vendor’s bank details
- Confirmation of removal from any stocking loans or finance
Buyers are responsible for arranging the collection of the vehicle from the vendor’s address as per the agreement. It is essential that the transport team notifies the vendor ahead of collection and inspects the vehicle fully before leaving the site. The condition, number of keys, and service history should match the offer advert and sale agreement. Discrepancies may not be rectifiable once the vehicle is removed from the vendor’s site.
10. Vendor Guidelines
Vendors must provide the following documentation and instructions via e-mail to Easy2Trade Ltd:
- Scan of all 3 pages of the V5C
- Invoice made out to the buyer (as per the details on the Sale Agreement)
- Bank details (on a letter-headed PDF or a copy of a paying-in slip/void cheque)
Vendors must remove the vehicle from any stocking loans or finance to allow for payment. The buyer will be instructed to collect the vehicle from the vendor’s address, notify the vendor ahead of collection, and inspect the vehicle fully before taking it. Vendors should ensure the vehicle condition is as described, the V5C is present (unless stated otherwise), the number of keys specified is correct, and the service history is accurate. Easy2Trade Ltd’s fee is separate from the invoice and will be sent once the vehicle is paid for and collected and all parties are satisfied.
11. Liability
Easy2Trade Ltd will not be held responsible for any misdescription of vehicles. Our role as the agent/broker is limited to facilitating transactions based on the descriptions provided by the vendors.
